Well this should be an interesting month “Work Based“.
Planetpete has left, to move on to new challenges. so the company has gone into panic mode, and has decided to restructure itself, well in fairness its been trying to restructure for a while now, since we lost our support staff due to stress, so it should be interesting to see how the company evolves.
Well I watched a weird film last night, “Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter” I suppose the name should have said it all really!..
Also its classified as a “Kung-Fu Action / Comedy / Horror / Musical about the second coming”
But It turned out to be so Bad, it was good. :0)
Well any movie to have a kung-Fu fighting Christ, Punk Priests, Vampires, Mad scientists, Masked Mexican Wrestlers, Lesbians, Musical numbers and such has to be good…
It brought back memories of uni days and getting very drunk on a sat night, then back to beasts place to watch the troma films sky tended to show at ungodly hours of the morning..
Anyway.. Its worth a watch if you ever see a copy somewhere…
Well I had a week off work…
I Went to a few places, did some stuff, caught up on things that needed doing, and spent some time doing absolutely F all (Which apparently doesn’t count as sloth!!)..
But it was a good break… I needed to get away from the office for a bit! But now I’m back. And its the same-ole same-ole, No changes, we still employing the waste of space who’s been on fake-sick since start of november, the development department still covering for support, etc…
Ah well, such is life, There just better be decent wage reviews in April… (If it happens then satan will be skating to work…)
But on another note, I went into my week off with my 101 tasks standing at 6 finished/6 in-progress. and I am now on 8 finished/13 in-progress, so it was a productive week.. 🙂
Anyway.. Better do some work for a bit…
Well today is my last day in work.. Well for a week…..
I had holiday time I had to use up by the end of the month, so taking a week off to get away from the office, the politics, the illnesses, the wasters, the covering of other peoples jobs, and so on…
I’m looking forward to recharging my batteries, getting away from it all, and hopefully make a decent start on my 101 list..
Note, going into the holiday on 6 completed tasks, 6 tasks under way. Lets see the score when I return….
Due to a busy time in work, and a general apathy I have ended up with about 712 unread emails in my inbox, normally this is no big deal as they all get sorted eventually…
But I just got a text message accusing me of ignore email, and asking why… Now what was my heinous crime? ignored email for 1 month? 2 weeks? 1 week? no 1 day…

The proposed ban on the import, sale and manufacture of swords will have an adverse effect on legitimate practitioners, collectors and manufacturers. Actual sword related crime is very rare and does not warrant a ban that affects the cultural activities of thousands of legitimate martial artists, collectors and smiths. Current legislation is quite adequate to deal with violent crime connected with bladed weapons. New legislation is merely for show. Enforcing such a ban will also affect cultural events such as Scottish Sword Dancing and many Sikh festivals. We urge the PM to reconsider this knee jerk reaction to media influenced scaremongering.
