Astroglogical chart!

I just did one of them free astrological chart thingies online..
I don’t think I like me, I sound weird….

Sun is in 08 Degrees Scorpio.
Intense and complex by nature, you have extremely strong emotional reactions to most situations. Feelings are often very difficult for you to verbalize. Therefore you have a tendency to be very quiet – – to brood and think a lot. You seldom get overtly angry, but, when you do, you are furious and unforgiving. When you make an emotional commitment, it is total — you are not attracted to superficial or casual relationships. If you are challenged, you take it as a personal affront and tend to lash out and fight back in a vengeful manner. You love mysteries and the supernatural. A good detective, you love getting to the roots of problems and you enjoy finding out what makes other people tick. You are known to be very willful, very powerful and quite tenacious!

Moon is in 18 Degrees Aries.
High-spirited and courageous, you are a fighter when your emotions are aroused. The degree of force and drive that you can bring to any effort sometimes surprises others. You have hair-trigger reactions to specific stimuli and tend to “let it all hang out.” You sometimes act before you think and do things on the spur of the moment, and that sometimes gets you into trouble. Your moods change quickly — you have quite a temper, but you don’t hold grudges. Very independent, with an extremely strong and forceful personality, you are known for being impulsive, careless, reckless, foolhardy, rash and daring.

Mercury is in 22 Degrees Scorpio.
You are a born investigator. You are fascinated by secrets and mysteries and unanswered questions of any kind. When you become upset or angry, your emotional reactions are overpowering — reason and logic disappear in an uncontrollable passionate outburst. You tend to keep your thoughts secret and bottled up and this makes others regard you with suspicion. It is not that you are trying purposely to be evasive, it is just that you would rather not deal with the explosions and hassles that often occur when you reveal your true feelings and opinions. Your sense of humor tends toward sarcasm and irony.

Venus is in 25 Degrees Scorpio.
Your feelings about others are deep, powerful, intense and complex. When you like someone, you do so totally and obsessively if you do not like someone, they do not exist. Your faithfulness and loyalty to your lover is unquestioned. At times, your feelings are kept deep within you and, because they are so complex and intense, they frighten you — this is the way that you try to ignore them. But the more you try to do this, the more explosive things get when you eventually do express them.

Mars is in 27 Degrees Aquarius.
Your ideas and opinions are usually inventive and original, but sometimes they are merely eccentric and offbeat. You are altruistic — you will work hard for the attainment of group goals, as long as they meet your high standards. You tend to resent traditional authority figures because you think that your ideas are better thought out and more valuable than theirs. Very idealistic, you are a rebel WITH a cause!

EDIT (TEST HERE)

Plagiarising the Poet – I’m mad, bad and dangerous to know.

Well to take my mind off the drudgery of dealing with some stupid people.

“Are you sure you want your domain name redirected there? You know that doesn’t exist so your site won’t work? No my redirecting it will not magically make the other place exist?”  All the while resisting buying the none-existent domain name to sell to the customer at a later date…

I was doing some random google searches on some poetry I wrote years ago. And blow me down with a feather I found loads of copies of them about the net.

Ok 85% of the found copies were people posting them as their own work, Now in the past this has annoyed me, and i’ve asked for them to be removed, but due to a mellowing out in my old age, I couldn’t care less anymore..  Either that or the fact that all the comments on the poems were complimentary, eased the pain :0)

Or the fact I found one professional (non-personal) site that had one of my poems on it listed as being by Lord Byron (1812). So kinda a decent compliment for people to mistake my work for that of Lord Byron!…

The Straw is Speedily Approaching The Camel

You have to wonder about some people, and their problem solving abilities..

I work for an ISP, and our current main support person is off work with stress, and has been for over a month. The director in charge of support has also decided he has had enough and is no longer doing support. So we are down two full time support people.

So what do the powers that be do? hire NEW support people?
…….NO

Outsource our support to another country/company?
…….NO!!

They decide to give the support roles to the people in my office, who are 1 system Admin, 2 Full time developers, and 1 part time developer. So as well as our normal stressful, rush work that fills up 8 hours a day in the office, we now have to cover an extra 16 hours a day work (which is apparently so STRESSFUL our current support guy is off Ill)

Now am I alone in thinking that if a job is so stressful it makes people Ill, that giving it to someone already in a stressful job is a bit silly?

Oh, and the best bit dear reader. Guess what bonus/extra we are getting for covering 2 peoples work..
A pay rise?
………No

More Holidays?
………No

Fuck All!!!

But I should not complain, as in December I was doing My job, Helping Covering Support Roles, Helping Out other departments, And covering the SysAdmins job fixing/repairing Servers.. I got given a extra cash xmas bonus of 50quid… Woooo Hooooo

Well the CV is under a re-write… Hopefully it will be done before that bit of floating straw lands on the camels back, and I do something silly…..

pointed out this morning that we really should have a medical note preventing us being put under too much stress due to hobbies of playing with dangerous weapons..

Anyway.. here ends my break so back to work and hopefully someone will invent the time machine allowing me to do that 12hours work a day in the normal 9-5 office hours.

…………………………And relax

Office Sort Out

Wow..

I am impressed, We had Helen in the office for a big part of this morning to take a look of the mountains of paperwork, junk, and assorted crap we have managed to fill up several draws, a filing cabinet, and a book shelf with. A mass so disorganised we never even dare look for things.

We set her the challenge of organising it more as a joke, than anything else. But

bloody hell!

she’s finished, junked the crap, alphabetised the files, put things in order and folders with little sticky labels saying what each section is.

And all this by 12:30….

The Weekend

Well it was a relaxing weekend overall. Which is a good thing as the working week is getting too stressfully/annoying/depressing. Well theres my own work, on top of which I seem to be fixing lots of errors made by our sys.admin in my covering of his job while he’s on holiday, and then covering of support, a job apparently so stressful the two full time support staff we currently have are both of ill and have been for weeks… But thats another story…

So the weekend, I got a lie in on the Saturday morning due to training being called off :o) So it was a lie in then Christmas shopping, I managed to do it all in one go, just need to get 1 more and its all over and done with for another year… The only slight inconvenience to the experience (Which is a compliment if you think about it!) Was during a quick visit to Asda’s to get milk, and such. The checkout girl was scanning the goods, till she came to a bottle of Whiskey, where she looked at me, then the bottle, then at me, then at the bottle, then she asked my for proof of age!

Nothing much else Happened the weekend, Helped move some furniture out of the evil bitch aunts house, so we can finally have nothing more to do with her… Played some computer games, Watched some films, took a much needed “Time out” to chill and contemplate things.

Anyway, back to work.

Would the last person turn off the light when leaving!

Well I heard it all now.

The ISP I work for is considering getting rid of its support department for the new year, and just get everyone in the company to look after support a couple of hours at a time on a rota. This rota including the people who are out on customers sites most the time…

A well known phrase is currently jumping to mind, one involving piss ups and brewery’s….
