The Year of a Busy Mason – Missed Meeting

Missed Meeting!

Unfortunately I had to miss todays meeting. It was the North Wales Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards, and today it was being held up towards Anglesey in the early morning. And after a very late night at an Installation meeting (drinking) there was no way I could get up early enough and sober enough to drive that distance to make the meeting.

Of the Stewards in Wrexhamian Lodge, only one of us made the meeting and he did not stay for the festive board just so he could get up early to travel there.

The Year of a Busy Mason – Wrexhamian Installation Pt 2

Wrexhamian Installation Pt 2!

This evening was the Installation meeting of Wrexhamian Lodge. As the outgoing Immediate Past Master, my role of the first half of the evening was to support the Worshipful Master as he installed his successor. The second half I sat near some newer members who had things to do, so I could advise them if needed.

Since I was now off the ladder I reclaimed the role of Lodge Mentor.

The Year of a Busy Mason – Rehearsals

Rehearsals!

And it is that time again. This evening it was the Wrexhamian Lodge Rehearsals, which started off with a group discussion on how the 75th anniversary meeting went.

Yes, it is true, when you get a bunch of Masons together they will often sit about gossiping.

Wrexhamian Installation Pt 1!

This evening was the Installation meeting of Wrexhamian Chapter, and since I have no office in that Chapter I got to sit back and just enjoy the evening. It has to be said that Installation meetings where you do not have to do anything are always the best, since you really get to just watch and enjoy while supporting those who have things to do.

The evening was more enjoyable because I got to see my father go into the chair of Joshua.
