MEME: The Jung Explorer Test (Re)-Revisited

Well it’s been well over a year since I re-sat the Jung Explorer Personality Type Test. And I had some free time in the Insane Asylum, So figured I’d resit it to see if I’d switched types again.

In the original Test I sat in 2006 I was an INTJ “Mastermind” Who wanted to be a INTP – “Architect”.  – Then in the Jan 2010 ReVisit I was an INTP – “Architect” who wanted to be a INTJ “Mastermind”. So I was curious If I had switched again.

Jung Explorer Test – The Results
Actualized type: INTJ
(who you are)

INTJ – “Mastermind”. Introverted intellectual with a preference for finding certainty. A builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models. 2.1% of total population.

Preferred type:INTJ
(who you prefer to be)

INTJ – “Mastermind”. Introverted intellectual with a preference for finding certainty. A builder of systems and the applier of theoretical models. 2.1% of total population.

Attraction type: ENTP
(who you are attracted to)

ENTP – “Inventor”. Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 3.2% of the total population.

So it looks like I am still attracted to the same type, only now for the first Time what I want to be, and what I am match. Interesting

Missed Opportunities: The Insanity Test

It’s just occurred to me, that I missed out on a brilliant opportunity to really mess with someone’s head for years. Sit down comfortably and I shall explain.

Back in 1998/99 When I was writing the Insanity Test I added the following two questions :-

138: Have you ever mailed ‘pen@penddraig.co.uk’?

139: If so did you announce your undying love to this person?

At the time they were just throw away Questions, Implying Jokingly that you would have to be insane to email me. Little did I expect to be receiving a vast amount of decelerations of Love, and some extremely insane ramblings to be constantly popping up in the Inbox associated with that account for more than a decade (I’m still getting them today) In fact I keep saying I intend to make a small book of the more bizarre, funny ones (Plus those from “Interesting” People/Places) and make as mall eBook.

Now consider if I had picked a random persons email address, think of how confused they would be at the amount of almost “stalkeresque” love emails they kept receiving. I could really have messed with someone’s mind. and had years of amusement. I guess this proves that contrary to popular belief I am not after all “Evil(EDIT: “Or you just did not think of it at the time, Proving Nothing!!CN)

Time Travel & The Tardis

The overall theme of the weekend was “Time Travel“, And not just in the way Adults seem to travel back to their youth when presented with Chocolate Easter Eggs.

Neither was it purely because the new season of Doctor Who started back up on Saturday evening, with a bang and [REDACTED], Sorry I had to redact that last bit for in the words of River song “Spoilers!!!” So I shall say no more on that subject. (EDITOR: “Unless I write a review of the new series or episode)

The main Time Travel I am referring to is the feeling of being back in the past I experienced on the Saturday evening. I had gone around to a friends house while his wife was away. The evening involved some Multiplayer Age of Empires 3, a game (well AoE1) we used to play back in the days when we were work colleagues. Then a call to Domino’s to bring us Pizza & Chicken strips STAT.. All while some Junk-TV played in the background.  This used to be the useual way to end a nights training down the Dojo, Pizza & Junk.

In fact all we were missing for it to have been one of those nights from the distance past was a good conspiracy theory documentary playing on the TV.

Weekend Wanderings

This weekend I went a wandering. Well not really far wanderings, but wanderings nether the less. And wanderings covering two countries (Three if you count Bala as its own country) So I thought I was share my wanderings to you dear Readers (And it helps me remember where I was, and what I was doing).
