The 6 Nations 2012 – Update The Grandslam

Yes, Wales did it, The Triple Crown, The Six Nations Championship, & The Grand Slam.

Ok, we went into our final match basically winners of the 6Nations*, and were mainly playing for the GrandSlam** But whatever reason we played our hearts out and when the final whistle blew over battered and broken players in ripped shirts, Wales was the 2012 “Year of the Dragon” Champions.

Now if you recall This Post You will recall we said that if Wales won the 6Nations we here at the Ninja Temple would offer a prize to a commenter, or a donation to charity. We have not forgotten and are working out the best way to do this.

And A quick commiseration to Scotland who got the Wooden Spoon. Well I guess after 9 Years of winning the Spoon, Italy were determined not to get it for a Tenth year in a row.

* OK. if we had lost, and England beaten the Irish by something like a bazillion points they may have been the winners. But we beat them so it would only have been a technical win, not a real one.
** And revenge on the French for the WorldCup fiasco of the match-fixing Ref
